Test & Integration Engineer

In your role as Test & Integration engineer in the Development team you will be responsible for testing the product/increment. You will focus on testing the (integrated) software packages responsible for preparing, designing, specifying and executing the test cases on the (integrated) software packages. You are experienced in automated testing and you help to improve test automation. You will be involved with the design of the new features by contributing your test (& Integrations) knowledge and hands on experience . This is just the start of your contribution to our team! Additional tasks within this role:

  • Prepare test plans and specifications, write test scripts and execute tests (in sprint) and supporting the (Scrum) team with regards to testing;
  • Report defects in defect management system and assign to correct team/developer to resolve;
  • Making a risk analysis and estimating the impact of errors;
  • Give your advice and share possible solutions with the team in case of issues;
  • Review the requirements/user stories and other documentation on consistency and testability;
  • Automate testing;
  • Prepare and maintain the test environment;
  • Connect with the software developers within your team and with software developers from various other teams in order to realize and test the correct and stable solution/integration;
  • Prepare and maintain regression test set;

Who are we looking for?

  • You have between 2 and 5 years of experience as a Tester (Tmap/ISTQB);
  • You have affinity with Linux-based systems;
  • You are experienced in working in Scrum teams;
  • You are experienced in automating tests;
  • You like to be in control and strive to deliver quality;
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical direction;
  • You like to be challenged in your work and to improve yourself;
  • You know how to represent the customer voice to your team;
  • You are a real team player, yet you are not afraid to challenge your colleagues;
