The well-known DSV, a large player within transport and logistics, cooperates with Smart Robotics and the Technical University Eindhoven on a project where universally applicable cobots in logistics are researched, developed and implemented.
The demand for collaborative robots in SME’s is growing rapidly. However, the investments in these robots are often too high for SME’s. Besides, there is often a large variety in products and the surroundings. That is why the current project with DSV solutions and the Technical University Eindhoven was started. Together we work on the development of an universally applicable cobot that can handle a large variety in production, tasks and the surroundings within several logistics processes. The goal is for the cobot to work flexibly among its human colleagues.
